Let’s make Uusimaa the best region in Europe
The regional and social and healthcare reforms mean that from 2020 the following areas of responsibility will be transferred from the municipalities to the autonomous regions of Finland: social and healthcare, fire and rescue operations, and regional development and planning. In addition, the tasks of the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment will be transferred from central government to the regions.
The preparatory work for the new regional level of government is currently underway. By taking part in this brainstorming session, you get to influence this work! A wide range of Uusimaa people is involved: residents, workers, experts and our partners’ representatives.
